Why Copper

When I first began my journey as a wire weaver almost two years ago, I was drawn to working with pure metals. I realized that if I was going to be creating pieces with crystals for the purpose of helping others to access and connect with their energies, it made sense to me to wrap them in pure metals. Copper is the first metal that I have chosen to work with, and I am so glad I did. As you read along, you too may come to realize just how potent this elemental metal is, and why it has been used for Millennia.
Going back thousands of years, Copper was the first metal to be worked by humans. As an element, Copper conducts heat and electricity. When used in combination with earthly crystals, it has the power to intensify, enhance, and channel the energy of the crystals properties.
For humans, Copper is used to help protein filled enzymes move energy throughout our bodies. With it having energetic connections to the Goddesses Venus, Aphrodite, Ishtar and Astarte, all representing the same entity, Copper also embodies the energy of the Divine Feminine, Love, Healing, and Balance.
It is good to note that Copper is an amplifier of energy. So when using it, Copper will help to amplify mental capabilities, it will increase stamina, and generate more energy within the body for its wearer. It will help to enhance not only the energy within, but the energy around our bodies as well. Our Auras. It will help to clear a foggy brain, move stuck energy within the body, and will over time, help to reduce inflammation. Copper is a powerhouse. It naturally holds Antibacterial and Antimicrobial properties, draws out impurities, and overall, helps to maintain Homeostasis within the body by activating our cells into remembering their perfection.
The longer one wears copper, the deeper it’s subtle energies will work, to bring balance to the Mind, Body & Spirit.
